Come join us for a series of art events. No experience or materials purchase required. Just have fun. Bring some friends and even some snacks and make it a party. You don't even need to register. All events meet in the Fabulon Studio from 6-8.
All of the following events meet from 6-8 pm at the Fabulon Studio. These events have a nominal fee. We ask that you pay with cash or check at the door to help keep costs as low as possible.
6/21 A Fabulon Favorite Hand painted stemless wine glasses. Make a pair with monograms or team colors, patterns, inspirational words, or just cool designs. $20 for a pair. 6-8pm
6/28 Sophisticated version of Adult Coloring with ink, fancy pens, and other materials. Make your own note cards with simple instructions. The drawing part will be enjoyable for all even those who feel they "can't draw". Great way to loosen up. 6-8pm $15
7/12 Didn't you always want to Play with Paint. Why should the kids have all the fun. This is a chance to experiment with different paints and innovative ways to apply them. This is meant to be fun and exploratory but still fabulon enough to incorporate into sophisticated art work. Great networking opportunity for teachers. Led by several artists. $40
7/19 Decorative tiles with alcohol inks one of the latest trends is so much fun and highly attractive. Transforms into wall art or nifty paper weights to organize even the busiest desk. $20
7/26 Last week will have been so much fun, we will schedule it ahead of time! Tile Night Parent and Child. $30
8/2 A family fun night of Drawing Games like the famous artists use to do at the Paris cafes to get inspired. We teach and play. Then you can take the ideas home for family game nights forever. Ideal for long car rides. proven effective in improving literacy. Excellent resource for teachers. No drawing skills needed. $15 for up to 2 family member, $5 for each additional member. 6-8pm
8/9 Summer Finale with Special Guest Heather Powers Professional Organizer. Do you want to get your kids back to school and maintain your sanity in the upcoming school year? If so, please join Charleston's most creative Organizer and Productivity specialist, Heather Powers, to learn tips to set your household up for success! In this workshop we will begin with an interactive round table activity centered around three key areas of organizing for our kids and our household.
- Goal charts and keeping our kids on task at home and in school
- Tools for household management-how command centers and family binders can help
- Setting up Kids Spaces for success-closets, kids rooms and homework stations
Finally, we will use what we have learned in our discussion to map out a personal plan for our own household's success.
